Every Feature, and What
Each One Actually Measures
BrandKarma asks the AI answer engines what they recommend in your categories, records what comes back, and joins it to your Search Console and site traffic. Here is exactly what ships.
AI Visibility
Position, Share of Voice and Sentiment, Over Time
Every run scores the answers that come back. You get your average position and mention count per category, plotted across runs, with the latest run's distributions underneath and a ranked table of which brands the engines named most.
- Your average position and total mentions per category, per run
- Ranked table of every brand the models named — who, and how often
- Sentiment, share of voice and mention rank distributions for the latest run
- Filter by engine, category, prompt type and date range

Six Answer Engines, and You Choose Which Run
Pick the engines that matter for your market and set the cadence. ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Grok run by default; Claude and Perplexity switch on per brand. Prompts are grouped by intent, so unaided awareness and reputation are measured separately rather than averaged into one number.
- ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Grok, Perplexity and Claude
- Prompt types: unaided awareness, reputation, aspect-specific variants and your own custom prompts
- Per-monitor schedule, with the last and next run times shown on the monitor
- Web search on or off per monitor, so you can separate trained knowledge from retrieval
- Versioned methodology — when we change a probed model, the timeline flags the date and warns that figures either side are not comparable

Mention Rate and Google Rank on the Same Card
For each keyword you track, BrandKarma shows how often you and each competitor you track are mentioned in AI answers, which domains the engines cite as sources, and where you currently sit in classic Google results — with difficulty, cost per click and search volume alongside.
- Mention rate for you and each tracked competitor, with change since the previous run
- Cited domains, with citation counts — see who the engines treat as the source
- Keyword difficulty, cost per click and monthly volume
- Google position and clicks for the same keyword, from Search Console

Analytics
Four Sources, One Digest
An AI visibility score on its own is a number without a consequence. The dashboard puts AI mentions, your actual site traffic and what the open web says about you on one screen — and the digest reads all three against your Search Console history.
- Google Search Console — link a property and we pull sixteen months of daily site history in the background, plus three months of per-keyword rows
- First-party web analytics: sessions, visitors, pageviews and traffic sources
- Cookieless by design — the beacon writes no cookies, no localStorage and no sessionStorage, so it adds no consent banner of its own
- Paid attribution without ad cookies: click IDs captured on landing and carried to your app
- Web mention monitoring with sentiment and Ahrefs Domain Rating, with a minimum-rating threshold for alerts
- A scheduled digest written across AI answers, search, traffic and mentions

Integration
Point Claude or any MCP client at BrandKarma and work in conversation: read analytics, manage monitored prompts, edit brand configuration, research keywords.
Fetch published content by brand, language, category, tag or slug and render it yourself. This site’s blog runs on it. API documentation.
@brandkarma/tracker on npm, with React
and Next.js App Router bindings — or a one-line image beacon if you would rather not install
anything.
Content Generation
BrandKarma turns a measured gap into a brief, and a brief into a draft — planned, written and published through the same pipeline that serves it back over the API. Every article on this site’s blog was produced this way, with a human review before publishing.
Authoring is not open to self-serve customers yet. The quality bar we are holding it to is specific: no invented facts, no links to competitors, real sources, and localisation that rewrites for the target language rather than translating English cadence into it. Ask us if you want in early.
The Loop
Monitor
Ask six AI engines on a fixed schedule
→Discover
Find the prompts and keywords that matter
→Diagnose
See who gets named instead of you
→Generate
Draft the content that closes the gap
→Deliver
Your site fetches it from one endpoint
→Measure
Join it to Search Console and site traffic
Monitoring, diagnosis and measurement run on a schedule for every plan. Discovery runs when you add a brand, and again whenever you re-run it. Content generation is in early access — it writes every article on this site’s blog, and we review each one before it publishes. Ask us for access.
