# BrandKarma

> AI visibility monitoring. We ask up to six AI answer engines what they recommend in your categories — four on by default — track which competitors get named beside you, and join the result to your Search Console and first-party site traffic.

## What BrandKarma Does

- **AI Visibility Monitoring**: Your prompts are put to the AI answer engines on a schedule you set. Every answer is recorded, scored and kept, so a score can always be traced back to the exact prompt, engine and raw response behind it.
- **Competitor Benchmarking**: Name the competitors that matter and see how often each is mentioned and recommended beside you, per category and per engine. Share of voice and average position are reported for your own brand.
- **Keyword Intelligence**: Per-keyword mention rate for you and each competitor you track, the domains the engines cite as sources, keyword difficulty, cost per click, search volume, and your current Google position and clicks — on one card.
- **Google Search Console**: Link a property and we pull sixteen months of daily site history in the background, plus the last three months of per-keyword rows, then keep it alongside AI visibility for comparison.
- **Cookieless Web Analytics**: First-party traffic, sessions, visitors and traffic-source classification with no analytics cookies, no localStorage and no sessionStorage. The beacon writes nothing to the visitor's device, so it adds no consent banner; strictly necessary infrastructure cookies a site sets for its CDN or bot protection are separate and exempt from consent. Traffic is still personal-data processing under GDPR and needs its own lawful basis. Paid click IDs are captured and carried across a domain boundary without any ad cookie.
- **Web Mention Monitoring**: Mentions across the open web, each classified for sentiment and carrying the source's Ahrefs Domain Rating. You can set a minimum rating so only mentions above a chosen authority raise an alert.
- **Cross-Source Digest**: A written digest on a schedule that reads across AI answers, Search Console, site traffic and web mentions together.
- **MCP Server**: BrandKarma exposes an MCP server, so Claude or any MCP client can read analytics, manage monitored prompts, edit brand configuration and research keywords in conversation.
- **Headless Content API**: Published content is available over a read API — fetch by brand, language, category, tag or slug. Every article on the BrandKarma blog is served through it.
- **Content Generation** *(early access, not open to self-serve customers)*: Turns a measured visibility gap into a brief and a draft. It writes every article on the BrandKarma blog, with human review before publishing. The read API below serves published content; authoring is gated.

## AI Answer Engines Measured

ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Grok, Perplexity and Claude.
ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Google AI Overviews run by default. Claude and Perplexity are switched on per brand.

Methodology is versioned: every run is stamped with the model set that produced it, and the timeline flags the date that set changed.

Annual billing saves over 20%. Those four are structural limits; engine runs and any AI generation also draw on a credit balance. Nothing is metered by page views, SKUs or seats.

## Who It's For

BrandKarma measures brands, categories and prompts — not product catalogs — so it does not require a product feed or an eCommerce platform.

## What BrandKarma Is Not

- Not a PIM. Product data management is a separate problem; FacetFlux (https://facetflux.com) is our product for that. Separate products, same team — there is no integration between them today.
- Not a required CMS. Content is delivered over a read API and can be ignored entirely.
- Not a rank tracker with AI labelling. The point is the join between what the engines say and what search and first-party traffic recorded.
